Yotuh Energy – Investor Pitch Deck
A complete investor pitch deck and strategic storytelling project that transformed a deep-tech clean energy innovation into a clear, compelling, and investor-ready narrative.
Overview
Yotuh Energy approached Creative Nexus with a strong technology innovation but a highly complex story.
The founding team had built a 100% electric refrigeration system for cold logistics vehicles, addressing one of India’s most critical infrastructure gaps — low cold-chain penetration in intra-city and mid-mile logistics. However, translating this deeply technical solution into a clear, investable story for VCs, accelerators, and strategic partners was a challenge.
They needed a pitch deck that could:-
- Simplify a complex hardware + energy + logistics narrative
- Clearly articulate the problem, opportunity, and solution
- Highlight strong environmental and social impact
- Position Yotuh Energy as a scalable, venture-ready clean-tech company
The Challenge:
This project required clarity at multiple levels.
Cold chain logistics is a highly technical, fragmented, and capital-intensive space, especially in India. The deck needed to balance:
- Engineering depth without overwhelming investors
- Market opportunity without generic cleantech claims
- Strong impact metrics while maintaining commercial viability
Additionally:
- The product targeted small commercial vehicles (SCVs) and EVs, a segment ignored by legacy refrigeration players
- The founding team was young but highly credible, requiring sharp positioning
- The story needed to resonate with investors, government bodies, and industry partners alike
There was no existing narrative framework to stitch all of this together.
our approach

01/ Problem & Market Framing
We began by clearly defining the macro problem:
- Over ₹96,000 Cr worth of food lost annually due to inadequate cold chain
- Massive CO₂ emissions from diesel-based refrigeration
- No viable solution for sub-1-ton vehicles and EVs, which dominate intra-city logistics
This allowed us to position Yotuh Energy not as a hardware company, but as a system-level enabler of cold logistics transformation.

02/ Solution Simplification
We translated Yotuh’s engineering innovation into a clear value proposition:
- 100% electric, vehicle-independent refrigeration
- 25–30% reduction in logistics cost
- ~35% reduction in total cost of ownership
- Diesel replacement with grid electricity
- Smart, adaptive cooling with AI-enabled monitoring
Technical depth was preserved, but framed in outcomes investors care about: cost, scalability, reliability, and impact.

03/ Market Opportunity & Segmentation
We structured the opportunity across:
- TAM, SAM, SOM for cold chain logistics
- Focus on mid-mile and intra-city delivery, the most under-served segment
- Clear identification of ideal first customers (QSRs, e-commerce, FMCG, dairy)
This made the growth story focused, believable, and executable.

04/ Traction & Proof
We highlighted real-world validation:
- Paid pilots already operational
- Thousands of kilometres logged
- Significant fuel and CO₂ savings
- Letters of Intent from cold chain operators
This shifted the narrative from “promising technology” to “validated solution”.

05/ Founder & Credibility Positioning
The founding team’s background — IIT pedigree, Formula Racing experience, government incubation, and grants — was positioned as:
- Proof of execution capability
- Engineering credibility
- Long-term defensibility

06/ Visual & Narrative Design
The deck design was kept:
- Clean, technical, and modern
- Focused on clarity over decoration
- Structured to guide investors through a logical story flow
Every slide had a clear purpose, reducing cognitive load while increasing conviction.
The Results
The final outcome was a high-impact investor pitch deck that:
Yotuh Energy now has a strong narrative foundation to support:
- Fundraising conversations
- Government and industry partnerships
- Customer onboarding and pilot expansion
Impact at a Glance
- Clear articulation of a ₹ multi-billion cold-chain opportunity
- Strong differentiation against diesel and passive cooling solutions
- Investor-friendly storytelling for a hardware-led startup
- Credible positioning in clean energy and logistics innovation
